Belly dancing always looks so effortless and graceful, but if you try it, you will soon find out that it is a real tough workout.

This traditional Arabic dance involves moving every part of your body, especially the hips and belly and is a real body building workout.

Super Fit Cheerleader Turns Down Lucrative Fitness Modelling

 

What would you do?

It is tempting to get a little ‘help’ when you are working out. Especially if you want to aim for those lovely well defined muscles that attract envious stares and admiration.

It is even more tempting when you have worked hard to get the looks you want, and to be offered a large sum of money to do some fitness modelling to throw all morals and considerations aside.

Not cheerleader Anna Watson from Georgia.

Fitness CheerleaderBeautiful and proud of her looks, Anna has worked long and hard to achieve those extra 4 inches on her arms over a ten month period and she is not about to throw it all away.

According to an interview in her school newspaper Red and Black, “When she was at her strongest, she was bench pressing 155 pounds, squatting 255, doing bicep curls with 35-pound weights and dead lifting 230.”

“She drank only a sip of alcohol before her 21st birthday, and that came at communion. 

She’s an active member of Athens Church and plans to go on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic during spring break.

She’s moved out of the Bible Belt to Hawaii only to come home again.”

The fitness modelling agent from the Paris Elite Model Management wanted Anna to promote Anavar, a legal “mild” steroids that according to Anavar. com “It [Anavar] is the favorite of many people who want to have good looking muscles on their bodies. This is an anabolic steroid and is not toxic compared to other anabolic steroids……Moreover, as virilization is always a concern with female anabolic steroid users the concern is far less when Anavar is used. While it is still a possibility most women will find that even with extended use no virilization occurs often making it one of the best steroids for female use.”

The price? $75,000 for starters.

After much consideration especially about the long terms effects this could have on her body, she turned it down.

“I don’t serve a modeling agent. I serve the Lord,” Watson said. “I’m not going to compromise my morals and my beliefs just to take pictures. I believe that my body is a temple and a beautiful creation, so I don’t want to put anything into it that can harm it.”

“I know that my identity is not in working out,” Watson said. “It’s not who I am. It’s not what I want people to see me as. Yes, on the outside, I’m a very fit individual, but when you get to know me, my life is not all about exercise and working out. I think it’s really important to stay grounded and know who you are and knowing that shaping your bicep is not going to shape your personality. It’s not going to shape your goals in life.”

Stomach Exercises For Women

We are still following Zusana’s stomach exercises for women to get that muffin top tucked away for good.

You even get a little tour of her holiday cottage!

OK, all that over, it is time to get down to some serious work. As always, you need to warm up to get the blood going and your muscles warm. Again, if you have a medical condition or you are not sure of your fitness level and how much you can do, consult a qualified doctor.

 

A quick re-cap on stomach exercises for women:

1) Jump squats and push ups

2) Leg lifts with bottom off the ground supported by extended arms

3) Hands on the floor and do the running motion

4) Again more leg lifts as no.2

5) Do push ups with one leg extended and the other pointing to the ceiling

6) Stand up on the extended leg only and do squat jumps with one leg, extend torso as you jump up

Ready to drop? The most brutal exercise is still to come

7) Do push up with one leg off the ground, flip over so your torso faces the ceiling and you are supported by extended arms, knees bent, feet on the floor. Flip over to the other side and do a oush up with one leg off the ground; flip back and repeat.

Honestly, it takes only a few minutes a day but it will make a huge difference. So don’t just watch it, do it! and have fun (try anyway) with these stomach exercises for women.

Now we get to look at something a little more, shall we say, hardcore? We have looked at belly dancing and yoga moves but now it is time to do some serious abs workout exercises. These exercises are there to help you achieve six pack abs and you may feel that it is more for men than women, but honestly, I think these exercises will benefit both sexes in terms of getting rid of belly fat.

Try and do these abs workout exercises after an aerobic routine or a good warm up.

Why should you do stomach crunches? Doing aerobic stomach exercises increase the oxygen flow to your capillaries in your stomach, and it is this oxygen which will help burn the fat.

Greater blood flow = more oxygen = fat burning

More calories will be burnt to feed the toned muscles and we tend to release calories closest to our muscles. In these abs workout exercises, it will be the waist and stomach muscles.
